Knick-knacks of Cloud computing !!!

       From the very beginning of 2009 cloud computing had created a buzz around the world. But actually we don't have a clear idea about what is cloud computing??? as i m giving my first post in bogger.com , i have chosen the concept of detailing about cloud computing.so, i m pretty much xited about that....:). According to definition, Cloud computing is a technology that uses the internet and central remote servers to maintain data and applications. Cloud computing allows consumers and businesses to use applications without installation and access their personal files at any computer with internet access. This technology allows for much more efficient computing by centralizing storage, memory, processing and bandwidth.

In easy word, cloud computing means using the huge web world/space for storage purpose of various data ranging from songs, movies, images, software, contact info etc. Clouding computing operation doesn't need much high configuration in computer. In order to create a cloud computing account what we need is a computer having a internet connection. then we have to create an account in a cloud server. Then, the given cloud server will give us a a windows like platform to store things into that server. We can use these data(songs, movies, images, software, contact info) by log into our account. Also our email provider like gmail, yahoo, windows live mail etc can be used as a cloud server by continuously sending email(songs, movies, images, software, contact info) into that account. There are also some dedicated cloud servers where we can store our important data. I am giving u such servers link. u may use this server to store our data.

icloud - icloud http://www.icloud.com/en/ is  one of the cloud sever where we can store data. icloud have 3 versions, among them one version is cost free, other two version will cost money.

             1.standard- 3 GB free web space, almost all file types are supported.

Glide OS- Glide OS 4.0 http://www.glidedigital.com/   is also one of the cloud servers.Glide os have 2 versions available. among them 1 version is free which is Glide(Free!) which provides us with 30 GB free web space.It supports almost 250 file types. it has it's own word-processor, spread-sheet, presentation, email-client, music player, basic photo editor.

Ghost cloud computing-  Ghost cloud computing http://ghost.cc/  is a cloud server. It is a standard web OS having e-mail client , music player, flickr search, messenger. It also has a built in web browser.Free ghost account gives 1 GB free web space.
             There  are  other cloud computing servers such as http://www.startforce.com/.
